AnneINGHAMPassed away on 9th May 2019 aged 72 years. Anne attended St Christopher's C of E High School in Accrington where she was deputy head girl and after leaving she attended college to train in secretarial skills. Her first job was with Borough Engineers in Accrington where she stayed until marrying Derek. She then helped to support him in running the family business, Steak Cannadianne. After the business had been sold Anne embarked on a new adventure in Clitheroe where she and Derek ran an award winning delicatessen where she spent many happy times. Her next move was to Blackburn Royal Infirmary where she trained to be a medical secretary and later continued her career in the NHS looking after patients at GP surgeries in Clayton Le Moors and later at the Acorn Centre in Accrington from where she retired in November 2014. Anne enjoyed many happy days on the golf course and was previously a member at both Great Harwood and Accrington golf clubs. At home she enjoyed knitting and created many beautiful items of clothing for her granddaughter Gracie. Surfing the internet was another pastime with parcels arriving at home most days. Anne had many friends from her school days and others she had met whilst working for the NHS and always made time to meet up with them for fun, laughter, lunches and a glass or two of cold white wine. She was always passionate about her pets and leaves her beloved Lakeland terrier Archie. Wife of Derek Salisbury Ingham, mum to Debbie Cubbins and Tracey Blanc, grandmother to Gracie Blanc (13 years old), sister to Susan Tyzzer Smith (deceased), daughter of the late May (Peggy) Tyzzer and John Henry, best friend of Elaine Ford. Funeral service to be held on Thursday 23rd May 2019 at Accrington Crematorium at 3.00pm. Guests are requested to celebrate Anne's life by wearing bright colours as she was always a bright and optimistic person and dressed in colours which reflected her warm and happy outlook on life.
