ArleneHURSTArlene Hurst, of Mitchell Field Nook, Bacup, passed away on Wednesday, October 27. Arlene was a GPO telephonist until her marriage and starting a family. She loved sewing, knitting and dressmaking, enjoyed holidays abroad, and many years caravanning around the UK. Arlene was a member of the Caravanning Club, and loved cooking and baking with her grandchildren. She leaves husband Brian of 42 years, sisters Gerry, Anne and Morag, brother Steve, daughters Zoe and Katie, grandchildren Robert, Sophie, Oliver, Jade, Blue, Connor and Finley, and several great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service, conducted by Fr Roger Parker, will take place on Thursday, November 11, at 2.30pm at Burnley Crematorium. Flowers welcome.
