MoreenHUNTMoreen, age 89, died peacefully at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton on 10th January 2026.
She lived the last year of her life in Bridgwater, Somerset, but most of her life was spent in Holyhead. She grew up in Maes Y Mor, and loved that part of the town, particularly Newry Beach. She married Stephen Baxter Hunt in 1957, and they celebrated their diamond wedding in 2017. They lived in Keffi Street for most of their married life. Moreen worked for many of those years in Garreglwydd Residential Home. This was a job she absolutely loved doing.
She was much loved by all her family, and was so proud of her daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and their partners, and great grandchildren. There will be a family funeral in Somerset, and a memorial service in the near future in Holyhead for her family and friends.
She will be greatly missed by all those who love her.
