Peacefully at St Joseph's Care Home on 20th April 2026 aged 96 years, Sheila beloved wife of late Jim, and a loving mam of Mark, Nick, Steve and late Chris also a dear mother-in-law, a much loved gran of all her grandchildren.

Would family and friends please meet for Requiem Mass at St Joseph's Care Home, Elswick on Monday 18th May at 11.00am followed by cremation at the West Road Crematorium at 12.30pm.

Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to Little Sisters of the Poor.

So very sad to hear the news of Sheila’s passing.
She was a rock and mentor to me during my early years of teaching and a very dear friend. She gave me invaluable guidance and support during our time together at St. Mary’s Primary School. I will always have fond memories and gratitude to a special lady.
