AlwynHUGHESWe are sad to announce the passing of Alwyn Hughes, formerly of Crumpsall and Gatley, and most recently resident in Southport, where he died on 12 September aged 80.
Alwyn was husband to his beloved late wife Merle, much loved father of Jon and Rowland, grandfather of Ethan, and partner to Anthea.
Alwyn was until his retirement a long-serving teacher at Victoria Avenue Primary School, Blackley.
His funeral takes place at Southport Crematorium on 2 October 2025 at 1:00pm.
