Happy Heavenly Birthday, Dad.
Not a single day goes by that I don’t miss you. I miss your voice, your laugh, your advice, and the way you made everything feel safe and okay.
Today is especially hard, but it’s also filled with so much love and gratitude. I’m so thankful for every moment we had, every lesson you taught me, and every memory that still lives so clearly in my heart.
Your grandchildren and great-grandchildren miss you so much too. They may not all have had the chance to know you the way I did, but they know your love. I tell them about how strong, kind, and funny you were, and I see pieces of you living on through them every day. Your legacy continues in all of us.
I hope you can see us, Dad. I hope you can feel how much you are loved and how deeply you are missed.
Heaven gained the most incredible man, but my heart will always wish you were still here with us.
