Marion UrsulaHUDSONSadly passed away at her home in Ripley on Friday 28th November 2025 aged 92 years.

Marion was a dearly beloved wife of the late Jim, a cherished mum to Alan and to the late Paul, a proud loving grandma to Angus, Hugo, Jasmin, Kevin, Reuben and Sonya and a great grandma to Joseph. She was also a supportive mother in law to Sara and Lumy.

She taught several generations of children throughout her years as a teacher at Cavendish Girls School, Ilkeston and John Flamsteed School, Denby, where some will have known her as Miss Betts.

Her warmth and kindness will be remembered always.

Funeral service will be held on Friday 9th January 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at All Saints Church, Ripley, followed by interment in Ripley Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired may be given for Ashgate Hospice online or at the service.
