Anita PearlHUBBARDThe late Anita Pearl Hubbard, who passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday 20th February 2026, aged 83 years.
Born 15th February 1943, Anita lived a full and varied life, working in many roles during her earlier years before dedicating herself to the family she adored. She was the beloved wife of the late Barry, a loving mum to Steven and Gary, and mother‑in‑law to Tracy and Julie. A cherished nanna and great‑grandma, Anita's warmth, humour, and generosity touched everyone who knew her.
Anita and Barry were well‑known for the unforgettable parties they hosted together, filling their home with laughter, music, and friendship. She loved travelling with the family in their touring caravan, later enjoying many happy times at their static caravan in Chapel St Leonards.
Despite living with constant pain in later years, Anita remained unfailingly determined, independent, and devoted to her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great‑grandchildren, never wanting to be a burden and always showing strength, love, and gratitude.
A service to celebrate Anita's life will take place on:
