Anne ShirleyHOWDENSadly on 8th February 2026 Anne passed away peacefully, aged 90 years. Beloved wife of Gordon, much loved mum of the late Christopher, loving nana of Sarah and Lyndsay, cherished great nana of Oliver and Isabelle and a dear mother-in-law to Gladys. Anne will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
A service to celebrate Anne's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 13th March at 11.15 am. In keeping with Anne's love of green, we would request that those attending wear at least one item of green clothing if possible. Anne is resting at Kettle Funeralcare where floral tributes will be gratefully received or if so desired donations in Anne's memory may be given to St Andrew's Hospice. There will also be a donation box in the gardens of remembrance following the service.
