MartinHOWARDIt is with great sadness to announce that Martin, aged 51 years, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family and friends by his side on Tuesday 17th March 2026, following a long illness bravely fought with dignity and courage.

A much loved and adored Husband to Maggie, a cherished Son to Lynda and the late Mike, a beloved Brother to Sarah and Brother-in-law Steve, a respected Uncle to Max and George, a dear Nephew to Jane and David, a Cousin of Richard, Jennifer and Mary, Martin was also a great Friend to many and will be fondly remembered as the life and soul of the party.

A celebration of Martin's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Wednesday 1st April at 3pm.

By request an item of pink clothing to be worn if possible.

Donations in memory of Martin can be made to The Health Tree Foundation, Diana Princess of Wales Hospital.

From racing our beloved first cars, riding on the back of your RGV, 18th birthdays, 21st's, stag parties.. You were there for life's big moments, always making me, and everyone in the room laugh. Sometimes all it took was a well-timed glance, or your wry smile!
Sixteen years apart as life forced us to play at being grown-ups, but when I saw your face again last summer it was like we'd seen each other just a week before. We walked, talked, and picked up exactly where we left off.
Your words from that day will stay with me forever. Miss you Martin x
