It is with great sadness we announce that Evelyn passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday 27th May 2025, aged 81 surrounded by her loving family.
Evelyn was an amazing and devoted Mam to Stephen, Carolyn, Michael, Michelle, Malcolm and Donna; a fantastic Grandma to Lauren, Gemma, Scott, Daniel, Megan, Callum, Karl, Leah, Jack and bump; a loving Great-Grandma to Evie; and a wonderful sister to Joyce, Ethel and Christine. Evelyn will be treasured and missed dearly by all her family and friends.
A funeral service will take place at Saltwell Crematorium on Tuesday 10th June at 15.15. All are welcome to join the family for refreshments and to celebrate Evelyn’s life after the funeral, details will be given at the funeral service.
The family have requested family flowers only. Donations are welcomed in lieu of flowers to support Marie Curie in Evelyn’s memory. Donations can be made at the Crematorium or online.
