Margaret Houldcroft was a cherished aunt, a devoted member of her community, and a woman whose quiet dedication touched countless lives. She spent her entire working life at Wm. Williamsons Jewellers of Longton, serving customers with the same care, loyalty, and attention to detail that defined everything she did, remaining with the business until its doors closed in 2014.
Beyond her work, Margaret was known for her gift behind the camera. She photographed local weddings, christenings, and family portraits for generations of families—capturing moments of joy, love, and new beginnings. Though she never had those family milestones for herself, she celebrated them through the lens, giving others memories they would treasure for a lifetime.
A resident of Blythe Bridge, Margaret lived a life marked by steadiness, kindness, and quiet grace. Her legacy lives on in the photographs she created and in the hearts of the many people who were fortunate enough to know her. RIP aunt Marg x
