(Peter) DavidHORTONDavid sadly passed away at home on the 16th May 2021, aged 82 years, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 61 years to Carol, father to Stephen and David, father-in-law to Denise and Gaynor. Grandad to Daniel, James, Thomas and Jake and great grandad to Ava. Also an uncle and friend to many. He will be sadly missed by all. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, 3rd June at Rochdale Crematorium at 1.40pm. Family flowers only. Donations if desired can be made to Springhill Hospice. Further enquiries to Cutgate Co-operative Funeralcare. Tel: 01706 643 215

Sending my love to Carol and family. I have many happy memories of David, especially his singing, with the Ashworthites. My mum and dad ( Ralph and Vera Brown)were good friends of yours. David was a lovely man and will be sorely missed.
