John CharlesHOPLEYPeacefully in Springhill Hospice on June 28th 2023, aged 75 years. Loving husband of Margaret, beloved father of Joanne and Kathryn, a cherished grandfather and great grandfather, loved brother of Carole and the late Tony. He will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends. Service to take place at Rochdale Crematorium on Tuesday 11th July at 2pm. Donations in lieu of flowers to Springhill Hospice, c/o Dixons Funeral Service, 2 Manchester Road, Rochdale, OL11 4HY. Telephone 01706 645501.

I’ve known John for about 60 years and during this time he has been a good friend. we have had plenty of memorable Friday nights in The Slip.He was taken too soon and will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
