Catherine RayeHOOBANOn the 4th of January 2026, passed away peacefully in Ysbyty Alltwen, Tremadog, aged 75 years of 13 Llwyn y Gadair, Llanfair.

Beloved Wife of Laurence, adored Mother of James, Matthew & William, Naini to Chloe, Harvey, Tommy, Kayleigh and Cali. Beloved Daughter to the late Errol and Phylis Sykes and Sister to the late Elaine.

Public Funeral service to be held at St Mary's Church, Llanfair on Friday 23rd of January 2026 at 12.30pm followed by interment at Llanfair Cemetery.

Family flowers only, however, donations in memory of Raye are gratefully received towards Dementia UK (Vascular Dementia) and Ysbyty Alltwen League of Friends through the funeral directors

So sad to hear of Raye's passing. We have so many happy memories of times with her. She was so kind , welcoming and generous as a friend to us , and so many others. Most of all , she was a devoted wife , mother and proud grandmother and will be missed by so many.
Our sympathy and love to all the family.

So very sad to hear of Raye's passing. She was so generous as a friend to many , but , most of all , the most devoted core of aĺl her family.
So sorry ,not to be attending her tribute funeral as we are far away in Australia with our family.
