ShirleyHOLMESFormerly of North Wheatley and Retford, passed away peacefully at Lound Hall Care Home on Wednesday 19th November 2025.

A Thanksgiving Service for Shirley's life will take place at Grove Street Methodist Church, Retford on Friday 9th January 2026 at 11am preceded by a service of committal at 10am at Babworth Crematorium.

I remember Shirley and her family, especially from Wheatley days. She used to play tennis with my father.. When I went back to Retford I often saw her at Grove Street Methodist Church. I remember her lovely sister-in-law, Margaret, gave us a pet rabbit when we were children. Rest in peace and rise in glory, Shirley. Ruth Groome, now living in Burton Latimer.
