Eric LuardHOLMES(Formerly of Spondon and owner of H.L. Holmes & Son, Spondon) Passed away peacefully at Mercy Care Centre on 5th October 2025, aged 88 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Gillian, loving dad of Neil and Sue, a beloved grandad of Cameron and a dear father in law to Dave.

Eric will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

Eric's funeral service will be held on Wednesday 19th November, 12.30pm at Trent Valley Crematorium, Weston on Trent.

Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Eric will benefit 'Autism East Midlands' (previously known as NORSACA). These can be placed in the collection box at the service.

Lovely memories of visiting Sue at her home in spondon and always greated with a lovely welcome and a great smile from both your dad. Lovely man great sense of humour and always gentle and kind .
