JoelHINTONPeacefully on 15th April 2026 in the wonderful care of the Cardiology team at the RSUH, with his loving family by his side, Joel aged 19 years of Longton.

Cherished and much loved son of Jennie and the late Paul, treasured brother of Sam and Tilly, dear step-son of Tony, precious grandson of Linda, Colin and the late Brenda, Dave, Harry and Madeline, adoring uncle of Kayla, dearly loved nephew of Phil & Mandy, Sonya & Ivan and Lisa, loving great-nephew and cousin and a special friend to many.

Joel was a truly remarkable, thoughtful and gentle man, who touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

A service to celebrate Joel's life will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Tuesday 26th May at 3:15pm.

Will relatives and friends kindly meet at Carmountside.

To help celebrate Joel's life his family would prefer no mourning clothes, and for people to wear comfortable colourful clothing.

No floral tributes please by request, donations preferred for the UHNM Charity (Cardiology Department).

Had the wonderful privilege of spending my college days with Joel, being creative, having fun, setting lights up and flooding the theatre with far to much haze was what he did best. Plus we shared a wonderful holiday together in Cyprus where we enjoyed the ice cold pool, unlimited cocktails (which I think Joel had tried every single one) and all the food in the world.
This was a photo I took of Joel enjoying the Hotel entertainment - which he said he could have done a better job himself.
