I Learnt so much working alongside Ken, when we were in The Rochdale District team. Many memories of District camps and competitions. His Backwoods cooking skills were superb and always done the proper way. I also recall the long hours and organisation renovating the district HQ which Ken so ably organised. Thanks Ken for all you shared with Scouts and adults alike.

Ken’s dedication to Scouting at Group & District level was an inspiration to so many within Rochdale Scouting.
The encouragement he gave to both young and older members alike along with his scoutcraft skills have led to the personal development of so many who have gone out into the world better people. For this he will be fondly remembered.
