Ian JamesHILLMANof Entwistle Road, Accrington passed away on November 4, aged 71 years. Ian attended the Holy Family High School in Accrington and later went on to be a plastic fabricator at G&A Plastics in Accrington where he worked for many years until he retired. Ian loved to cycle, go to the gym and take regular visits on holiday to Lanzarote with his wife Berni. Ian had a passion for Accrington Stanley Football Club and music but most of all, Ian loved spending time with his family. Ian leaves behind his beloved wife Berni, his two children Luke and Anna, daughter-in-law Ange and son-in-law Carl. His grandchildren Megan, Alecia, Kenz and Orlagh. His sister Tricia and brothers-in-law Clive and Frank. Ian’s funeral will take place on Monday, November 21 at 1.40pm at Accrington Crematorium on Burnley Road in Accrington, conducted by David Ireland, followed by a celebration of Ian’s life at Accrington Stanley Football Club in the 1968 Hospitality Lounge.
