Auntie Barb always showed interest, encouragement and support for Chris and I and our families throughout our lives. When we were children our families used to get together on family occasions and I can recall happy times playing in the Hill family campervan on our street and also in Dinas Dinlle in the caravan.

Auntie Barb and Uncle Gordon spent Christmas Day at our house for many years and she loved to see our children and grandchildren growing up. Auntie Barb was lively, interesting and great company. She struck up a good friendship with Barbara, Barry’s Mum, and they used to enjoy a good chat at Christmas and other family events.

During COVID Meg shopped for Auntie Barb each week and during that time they developed a close bond.

Auntie Barb loved us and we loved her. She will be sadly missed.

I have so many fond memories of Barbara, she always made me feel so welcome whenever I came to visit, even tho years would pass by. Many cups of tea in the back room, sometimes a song on the Ukulele from Gordon and many many laughs! You were one of a kind Barbara and have always been a big part of my life and I will miss you very much❤️. Love Laurie Bacon
