I cannot send a card and your hand i cannot touch.
But just in case you can hear me Mum, I love and miss youvery much.
I'm thinking of you today Mum, I know that's nothing new.
Your in my thoughts of yesterday, and you'll be in tomorrow's too.

I was pottering around last night and started thinking of all the things that I should’ve said and wish I’d told you when saying goodbye so I consciously told you hoping you might still hear.

Then today I’ve realised it’s been 4 years without you.. It could be my subconscious or coincidence but I hope it’s a sign you’re still around and listening.

It still only feels like yesterday that you were here with us then had to leave and be with your sisters again. You were the funniest, kindest and most loving Nan, mum, sister, auntie and everything else we could’ve wished for.

I’m grateful for all the years I was lucky enough to spend with you. Keep watching over us xx

It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories.
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you
You are always at our side
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one
the chain will link again.

My heart has been left broken,
Since the day you had to go.
And the memories I treasure dearly,
Are in the tears that still flow.

You're in my thoughts everyday,
And that's how it will always be.
For you may be in heaven now,
But you'll always be with me.

If only I could have a chance,
To see your face once more.
Or hear your voice one final time,
Just like it was before.
