MayHICKS(née Culmer) Mum passed away peacefully at Woodlands Care Home on 18th May 2025, Aged 96 Years.

So dearly loved, mum will be missed by all her family and those that knew her.

Rest in peace mum.

We would like to express our thanks to all the staff at Woodlands who took such great care of mum.

Private natural burial for immediate family only to be held on 13th June 2025.

Aunty May … as My Brother and I called her … back in the 60’s In Tunbridge Wells … and Uncle John … May was very kind and thoughtful … so Lovely to Talk too … I spoke to her last around 2022 … we spoke about Lots of things … about her Health and the Lively Care Home in Crowborough … where she was very Happy and especially about My Mother… Robin … who I Look after with My Brother … Philip Tester … She just turned 92 … on 23.1.2026 … and we spoke about … My Late Father … Peter … who passed away on 13.11.2014 … We shared many Happy Memories re My Family and Sharon and Beverley … I only found out Today about Aunty May … I rang her Number at the Care Home as we hadn’t received a Christmas Card … which we always did … God Bless … Sending My Love … Nicola xx

Such a lovely lady always cheerful and up for a chat. She never forgot to send us a Christmas card with a lovely handwritten message in it. God bless from the Winter sisters.
