So sorry to hear the sad news of Thelma’s passing. Have many happy memories of her and Norman’s visits to Stratford upon Avon in her beloved caravan. Much laughter and kettle was always on. Thelma was a good friend to my Mum and grandmother. Rest in peace Thelma. Much love. Karen and Simon Skillings xx

Rest in peace, our Thelma. One of Wales’ finest, who gave so much to others throughout her long life. Her stays with us when we were younger kept us firmly on the straight and narrow (whether we liked it or not). Wise, kind, formidable, and absolutely a legend. She will be deeply missed.

So sorry to hear about your mum Gareth, I was one of her St John's Ambulance cadets in Llandudno Junction many years ago, your lovely mum taught me so much in first aid and how to do CPR, loved going to carnivals and fun days with her in the caravan. I had to go to casualty once in Llandudno Hospital and your mum was on duty, she looked after me and kept telling the Dr that he had to give me special treatment as I was one of her cadets. Rest in peace Thelma, you where such a kind and an amazing lady who taught me so much xx
