RossHENDERSONIt is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ross Henderson who left us on 10th September, having lived an inspiring and fulfilling life.

Adoring and devoted husband to Patricia and cherished father to David.

Pragmatic, positive and resilient, Ross touched the lives of all who knew him and was held in high esteem by the staff and students of North Axholme School, Crowle where he had worked as Head of Science teacher for many years.

To commemorate his life a memorial service will be held in his honour at Woodlands Crematorium on Thursday 9th October at 2pm.

We invite all who knew him to join us in remembering a truly remarkable man.

Ross was a good human being and always had a companion dog. He was intelligent, with encyclopaedic knowledge, and as a teacher at North Axholme he could communicate sympathetically and effectively. He was always gracious and could debate with determination and convincing persuasion. His values and principles were never in doubt, and he always commanded respect. Ross will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
I will miss our get-togethers for a pub lunch.

I only got to know Ross later in life after his wife had died. He joined our quiz league team. He was such a lovely, friendly and intelligent man who I was glad to call a friend and proud to have known him. RIP Ross you will be missed.
