our memories of Bryan are many but to mention a few. The sound of his voice at the Bamford Sheep Dog Trials. The joy of hearing him play for the services at the Woodland Chapel. The pleasure of the Castleton Band led by Bryan at the Christmas lights and of course the many Christmas dinners we spent together with the family at Doveholes. Some people may have thought Bryan was a very quiet man but I never found conversation difficult with our life shared love of cricket.
May you rest in peace on the hills that you loved.

“The song is ended, but the melody lingers on.” A friend for almost 25 years, he will be fondly remembered.
