Shirley GladysHAYNESPeacefully on 9th January 2020, after a long illness fought with much courage and dignity, Shirley aged 81 years sadly passed away. Shirley was orphaned at baby age due to the Second World War, she was adopted when she was a school girl. Shirley served several great years in The British Army, she finished serving and completed nurse training, here in Grimsby. Shirley classed as her family Barbara, her daughters and grandaughter who Shirley was a God Mother to. All of us would travel all over the country to watch England play cricket, Shirleys one big passion. Shirley was a true christian, thankfully now in the hands of God and pain free. A very special friend of Barbara, Ann, Shirley and Chris, a dearest friend to many more. At Shirley's request a private committal has already taken place.
