It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Gareth Hayes,
former retired Police Officer 1810 of South Wales Police.
Following his retirement, he worked at Cardiff Museum and Cardiff Bay Barrage.
Also known to many as a keen and able fisherman, bowler, gardener and cook
and a great lover of all animals, nature and especially dogs.
Gareth peacefully passed away on 9th July at Royal Glamorgan Hospital.

Devoted husband to Jen,
much loved dad to Charlotte and Caroline,
respected father-in-law to John and Phillip,
proud Bampi to Shauna, dear brother to Simon
and brother-in-law to Jackie, David & Chris.
Gareth will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral service Monday 24th August,
the funeral cortege will leave Gareth's home at 1.30pm for cremation
at Coychurch Crematorium, Bridgend at 2.15pm.

Family flowers only.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, if so desired, will be greatly
received for Headway Cardiff and may be made using the following link
