MikeHARVEYPassed away peacefully at Ty Olwen Hospice on Sunday 12th July 2026 aged 84.

Former employee of the South Wales Evening Post and loyal member of Mumbles Rangers Football Club and the Badgers Cricket Club.

Above all, Mike was a devoted family man. He was a beloved husband of Val, a much-loved father to Matthew and Jo, a cherished father-in-law to Ruth and Andy, and proud and doting Bampa to Tom, Bethan, Sophie, Sam and Kate. He was also a dear friend to many, who will miss his kindness, humour and warm nature.

Mike's family would like to thank everyone for the thoughtfulness and support they have received.

Following a private cremation, family and friends are warmly invited to join them in celebrating Mike's life at Mumbles Cricket Club on Wednesday 12th August from 4pm, and wear colours in keeping with Mike's personality rather than traditional black.

Instead of flowers, donations in lieu, if desired, may be sent to Ty Olwen Hospice via tyolwen.org.
