Cortege leaves daughter Zoe's residence Wednesday 5th January at 10.50am for service at the Chanterlands Crematorium (small chapel) 11.20am prior to interment Western Cemetery 12.00 noon. Oh Ray I didn't know you had left us. I always thought you were invincible and would always be here. I was thinking about you again today and all the mischief we would get up to, the good times we had and the friends we shared! RIp bro.

Jan and I first met Ray in the mid-1960s when we were in our mid teens and last saw him in, probably, the early '80s. Regardless of his tough outer persona, Ray could also be kind, funny, a music fan and was always friendly towards us both. He was a unique character and will be missed. RIP Ray
