George HenryHARRISONOur precious, loving Dad, Grandad, and Great Grandad, Brother & Uncle fell asleep at sunrise on 18th July 2026.

Loving Dad to Peter, Susan, Tricia, Linda, and June.

You gave us so much love and care, Dad. You are back in the loving arms of our wonderful Mum.

You always had a solution to every problem, and positivity was your focus. Your quirky inventions always made us laugh. You had a hundred uses for a clothes peg!

You worked so hard as an electrician, and everyone who knew you warmed to you. Your love for life was incredible, Dad. You wanted to live forever, and in so many ways you will-by our side, watching over us, just as you always did. You never stopped worrying about us or caring for us.

We remember so much about what you were like when we were little. You would take us for walks and secretly drop coins from your pocket. We didn't realise you were doing it until we were older. You made us believe we had found them ourselves. You were teaching us a beautiful lesson about life-that there is gold everywhere if you take the time to look.

You read us so many wonderful books, including The Wind in the Willows, Aesop's Fables, and beautiful poems that filled our childhood with love and imagination.

We loved hearing you come home from work. You would make your special whistling sound to let us know you were home. As children, that whistle brought us so much happiness and excitement. It meant our Dad was home.

Thank you for being our loving, kind, and caring Dad. We love you more than words can ever say and will miss you for eternity.

Now you are back in the loving arms of our beautiful Mum.

Rest in eternal peace, our Dadio. Forever loved, forever missed.

Funeral Service Monday, 3rd August 2026 Church Service at 2:00pm at St Luke's Church, Crosby, followed by a 3:00pm committal at Thornton Crematorium.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to St Joseph's Hospice.

Rest in peace, our wonderful Great Grandad.
Your passion for books inspired us all, and you always took the time to share your love of reading with us providing us all with books from what we were interested in, ours was always space, science and cars.
You had the most incredible imagination and a talent for turning ordinary things into something extraordinary. We'll never forget your funny inventions, especially the bottle opener you transformed into a little doll that made us all smile. You had a way of seeing magic where others saw everyday objects.
Your wisdom, kindness, humour and creativity have left a mark on all of us, and the memories you've given us will stay in our hearts forever.
Thank you for every precious moment. You are forever loved.
Rest peacefully, Our Great Grandad George 🙏 Love Chloe & Kyle ❤️
