My Dad.
17/07/1921--10/01/1982.🩵
Another new year dad, they go so quickly now.
Life seemed a lot easier then in 1982, today everyone is always in a rush. Dad keep Eileen and Kevin strong as we go through the year, it's the third time cancer has touched my family thankfully treatment has moved on and if we get Eileen through the next few months all should be ok. Mam will be devastated with the news.

44 years without you is 44 years too long.
Dad you were taken from us too soon aged 60.
Cancer raising its ugly head.
Now at 64 I have a little more understanding of how you must have felt.
I too have been diagnosed with cancer though thankfully treatable.
The words no one wants to hear.
The memories are still there of that time and the many hospital visits and treatments I am going through make me realise what you too endured.
Dad I will do my best to get through this.
Cancer has taken so much from our family,Alan too endured so much.
Rest well Dad pain free you certainly deserve too.
Always in my thoughts and prayers.

Mam
2026 has not started well for me.
Cancer has once again raised its ugly head and this time it’s me.
I know you would be devastated to hear this.
I am in good hands and am being well cared for by hospital staff and of course Kevin.
My cancer is treatable but a long road ahead.
Please Mam send us some strength as we go through this tough time this year.
Miss you all so much…well ok not enough to join you all just yet!
One day though Mam.
