Jean PatriciaHARDINGMrs Jean Harding, who had lived in Surrey almost all her life, has died in St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey. She was 92.
Born in Dorking, Mrs Harding grew up in Liddington Hall Estate, Guildford, before marrying and moving to Rydens Way, Old Woking, for 25 years.
Together with her late husband Rex, for many years in the 1970s and 'the couple used to run the Old Woking Youth Club at the Community Centre in Sundridge Road. She was also assistant akela at Old Woking Scout Group. After moving to Crawley in West Sussex following a job move for Mrs Harding's husband, they returned to Woking and settled in Goldsworth Park. Mrs Harding was a regular worshipper at St Andrew's Church and was also an active member at 'Strollers'.
Mrs Harding leaves a sister, Val Coleman, three sons, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at Woking Crematorium on 28 August at 13.00.
No flowers. The family invite donations for Macmillan Cancer Support.
