As a former pupil at Kingsway County Secondary School in the 1960’s, I was fortunate to be taught by Mrs. Harding, a caring, highly skilled and knowledgeable school teacher. I shall always be grateful to her that I had a successful career as a Shorthand Typist and in later years as a Secretary.

I am so pleased that the opportunity came along for us to reminisce and I was able to show Ruth a letter she had written to me on 19th July, 1966, and also my autograph book in which she had written, in shorthand, of course, “the best shorthand writer I ever had”. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to say to her I was taught by the best Shorthand & Typing teacher.

R.I.P. Mrs. Harding.
