GordonHAMMERSLEYGordon sadly passed away on Friday 9th January 2026 whilst at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, aged 90 years.

A much loved husband, father, uncle, grandad, great-grandad and friend.

A private cremation will be followed by a commemorative service for all at St Giles R.C. Church, Cheadle on Monday 9th February at 1.30pm.

Gordon was a colourful character so please feel free to wear bright clothing.

No flowers by request, donations preferred in memory of Gordon to the Cheadle and District Foodbank and The Douglas Macmillan Hospice.

Condolences to Gordon's family and friends. I worked for Gordon at Myott Meakin from 1974-1976. Great boss and even better bloke. RIP Gordon.
