from Della. I am a friend of many years, because it was Christine who introduced me to Liskeard when I arrived from London 25 years ago. My own Christian denomination had not been very forthcoming, and I came to St. Martin's, where Christine welcomed me with open arms. During the years that followed, she encouraged me to give my denomination another chance, and we worked together on many ecumenical projects. Christine was always keen, indefatigable in fact, a great organiser, manager and a wonderful delegator, bringing people in and giving them ownership. She was also very beautiful, always well-groomed, always greeting the world with a smile. She was a wonderful gift to the people of Liskeard and beyond. May she rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.

My strongest memory of dear Chrissy, she was so uplifting to me, was when our Richard died on 4th Feb, Stuart’s 19th birthday, he was 21. Chrissy was the first one to call, she went through 23 pints of milk making cups of tea/coffee for callers, that day.. A steadfast friend and sister to the end. We shall always love and remember her.

I have over 20 years of wonderful memories of working together in church groups and projects, which were always executed with detailed planning, hyper-organisation and professional panache! Everything you did was done with 150% effort and the ultimate dedication, which resulted in only the very best for everyone. We had a million laughs and conversations and you were of great encouragement to me always. Your grounded faith, your personal witness and humility reflected Christ and encouraged my growth in the Lord. Your legacy is massive, far beyond the average human being, and you will always be loved and remembered with the greatest fondness and respect.
