VickyGROVESAnnouncing the passing of my beloved mother, Vicky Groves, following a short battle with cancer. Vicky served as a Nurse at the University Hospital of Wales for many years before changing careers to psychotherapy, working at Cardiff University, she dedicated her adult life to helping others.
She was a treasured mother, Sister, and friend beloved by many, she will be sadly missed, but remembered and cherished by all those lives she touched.
At my mother's request, there will be no public funeral, but a private gathering of family and family friends to remember her.
At the request of her son, those wishing to remember Vicky are encouraged to donate to Velindre Cancer Fundraising, Marie Curie Hospice, or City Hospice Cardiff who took such great care of her over the final months of her life. Or to donate to a Cancer research charity in the hopes that this disease can be cured.
