Edna MaryGROUNSELL(High Heaton, Newcastle)

Passed away peacefully on 16th November in Freeman Hospital aged 98. Loving wife of the late James (Bob) Grounsell, mother of Jon and the late Andrew, mother-in-law to Jo and the late Jane, grandma to Fay, Eva, Amy and Henry, great grandma to Otto and Thea and sister to the late Leslie; a joy, rock and inspiration to us all. Funeral at West Road Crematorium at 1.15pm on Monday 9th December to which all friends and extended family are warmly invited. Family flowers only please.

Edna was a very special friend. We spent some wonderful times together in Colorado and in England. She loved to travel and had so many wonderful stories to share. She loved her family so much and was so proud of them. She was a very devoted member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Edna, Tom and I will miss you very much. We are so glad we got to spend time with you this past summer. Rest in peace. We love you. Tom and Lilly Johnson - Colorado.
