Sadly passed away on Ward 2 at the Florence Nightingale Community Hospital on Thursday 1st January 2026, aged 73 years.

Much loved husband of Sue, adored dad to Michael and Kellie, and dearly loved grandad to Jules, Nancie-Rose and Delilah.

"You'll be so missed, young-un."

Loved beyond words. Missed every day. Forever in our hearts.

Funeral service to be held at St Alban's Catholic Church, Chaddesden on Friday 6th February 2026 at 12.15pm followed by the burial at Nottingham Road Cemetery.

Flowers are welcome.
Donations if desired are invited for Ward 2 at the Florence Nightingale Community Hospital. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or may be given at the service.
