HarryGROCOTTAged 87 years of Clayton, formerly of May Bank, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away Monday 3rd February 2014. Harry will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends Funeral service at St Mark's Church, Basford on Wednesday 12th February 2014 at 1.00pm, prior to interment at Keele Cemetery. 12 years later and I’m thinking about you often. Every time my mum and I would come to visit I would hug you with both love and fear that it would be the last time.

Grandad - you were my strength, my courage, and the safety I needed to be myself as a child. You taught me what unconditional love and a good heart is, and because of you I have experienced it. Beyond grateful to be your granddaughter.

When I was a child, I wanted to be a vet, and you said I should be a doctor, not a vet (very insistently). 12 years later and I just became a doctor - guess you were right.
