Anthony JamesGRIGGTony passed away peacefully at Church Farm Field House Nursing Home, Radcliffe on Trent, on 27th November 2025 aged 89 years, after a six month illness.
Beloved father of Christine and Melanie. Born in Leicester, to Doris and Jim, on 1st October 1936, he attended school at Braunstone Avenue Hall, Braunstone Park, and then Gateway School for Boys 1949 - 1953. He studied Pharmacy at Leicester College of Technology (which became part of Leicester Polytechnic) and qualified as a Pharmaceutical Chemist in 1959. He was a successful manager and owner of various pharmacy stores in Nottinghamshire, the first one being on Derby Road, in Sandiacre, Nottingham.
Funeral on 7th January 2026. Contact the family if you would like to attend.
