ClariceGREENWOODClarice Greenwood, of Haslingden, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 17 in Pendle Community Hospital, aged 94. Haslingden born and bred Clarice was the wife of the late Stanley. She leaves behind her son David and daughter-in-law Moria. Her working life was spent at Clough End Mill, working as a looker, inspecting the cloth as she had a good eye for detail. She enjoyed dressmaking and embroidery. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 3, with an 11am service at St James Church, Haslingden, followed by a burial at Haslingden Cemetery, officiated by Fr. David Stephenson. Family flowers only with donations, if desired, in memory of Clarice to North West Air Ambulance c/o funeral director Caroline Holden-Dewhurst for Johnson Durning and Woods Funeral Service, Haslingden.
