It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father Tony, aged 85 years, surrounded by his loving family on the 3rd February 2025.

A dad to Tony, Colin and Sonya, father-in-law to Paul and Julie. Grandad to Dawn, David, James, Shaun, Shannon, Joel, Claire and Stewart. Great grandad to Amba, Ruby, Taylor, Alivia, Josh, Ethan and Orlaith.

Close to our hearts you will always stay, loved and remembered every day.

Funeral service at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Hedgefield Road L25 2RW on Thursday 27th February at 2.45pm, followed by cremation at Springwood Crematorium (Myrtle Chapel) at 3.45pm.

No flowers by request please but donations if desired to the British Heart Foundation via Funeral Notices.

Happy Easter Grandad! I wish you were with us today, we'd bring you round a lovely dinner. I know you're not fussed on lamb but everyone would have spoilt you with loads of choccies! I love you so much, missing you terribly. I pray for you everyday.

Hi Grandad! It's Good Friday today - usually we would pop down later with a fish from the chippy for you. You'd barely touch it then have a cake and a lager instead haha. I'm missing you so much, I love you so much. I pray for you all the time, I hope you and nan have a lovely day.

I can't believe it's already 2 months without my best friend, I miss you more than I can put into words. I think of you all the time. I wish you were still with us more than anything.

A part of me still feels like I can turn up at your house and you'll still be there - if only....
