ElwynGOODFELLOW14.1.1936 25.2.2008 After many years of suffering, Elwyn passed away at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. His devoted wife, June, and loving son, Julian, would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff on Ward 19 for the wonderful care they gave to Elwyn, they will always be remembered with deep affection. June, Julian and family would like to thank all their family, friends and neighbours for their support at this sad time. We were over-whelmedby the cards, letters and 'phone calls received. June would especially like to record her thanks to her brother-in-law Haydn and her sister-in-law Hilary for their love, loyalty and support to herself and Elwyn at all times. A special mention, also, to her dearneighbours Beryl and Dafydd for their kindness and for always being there when she needed their support. June also wishes to thank President Marion and the ladies of the Pontypridd Inner Wheel Club for their wonderful support at this sad time. Floral tributes were received from the following:-June and Julian; Hilary and Haydn; Jonathan, Sue, Lara, Amy and Harry; Bryda-Wayne, Susan and Marian; Shirley, Howard and family; Eileen and Terry; Beryl, Dafydd, James and Robert, also the Welsh Regiment and the Royal British Legion. Thanks are also expressed to Maesgwyn Funeral Directors who carried out the funeral arrangements with respect and dignity, and to the members of the Welsh Regiment and the Royal British Legion who acted as bearers. Grateful thanks also to the Rev Chris Burr from St. David's Church, Hopkinstown for the warm and comforting words and service at the Crematorium. Elwyn will be sadly missed as he was always a very loving and caring man who will forever be in our hearts and thoughts.
