AlanGODSONReverend Alan Godson died peacefully in his sleep on 20th May 2017, at his home in Liverpool at the age of 86. He was survived by his wife of 43 years, Lesley and his 3 sons Stephen, Jonathan and Andrew. He spent a fulfilled and momentous life in the service of God with whom he now abides. He will be greatly missed. A service of thanksgiving will be held at St Mary's Church, Grassendale, Liverpool, L19 0NE at 2pm on Friday 2nd June 2017

I remember Alan very well, from the Catacombs in Manchester. I was about 17 and Alan, to me, anyway, at that time, was a very intimidating, in the nicest of ways, man. He would insist on probing right to the heart of you and piquing your conscience, day Ng, "Have you been reading your Bible, praying, evangelising?" He was a botherer for God! I'm sorry I missed his death in 2017. Heaven is richer, for his passing!
