Ian passed away peacefully on December 7th, 2025, at Forbes House Care Home, Ayr, aged 63 years.
He was the beloved son of John and Susan (Sheena), and adored brother of Shiona (Randy) Quick. Ian will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
All are welcome to attend the service and reception to reflect on Ian's life.
A service to celebrate Ian's life will be held at Masonhill Crematorium, Ayr KA6 6EN on January 7th, 2026 at 12:00 pm. The reception will follow the service and will be held at Fairfield House Hotel, 12 Fairfield Road, Ayr KA7 2AS.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to ENABLE Ayr & District SCIO, Sutherland House, 123 Prestwick Road, Ayr KA8 8NJ

We are so saddened to hear of the passing of our dear friend Ian. His visits for a cup of tea and cheese scone made our day, and we were delighted to celebrate his 60th birthday with him back in 2022. Our thoughts are with Ian’s family and loved ones at this difficult time, from all at Dobbies Ayr.

I remember Ian well, even though it's been many years since I've seen him. And then, the times I saw him were only when I was his x-ray technician at a clinic in Appleton, WI. USA. A dear lad. Heartfelt condolences to the entire Glass family from the Stevenson family. Janie Stevenson
