William JohnGIVENSAt rest on 9th August 2022 at the RSUH after a long illness fought with great courage and dignity. Bill, aged 83 years of Sneyd Green. Devoted husband of the late Maureen, treasured dad of Jacky and Helen, loving father-in-law of David, special and much loved grandad of Ashley, Natasha, Laura, Daniel and Benjamin. Adored great-grandad of Tilly-Mae, Alfie, Harry, Theo, Bella and Sophia and a loving brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. Funeral service at Swan Bank Methodist Church, Burslem on Thursday 25th August at 12.00 noon, followed by interment at Burslem Cemetery. Will relatives and friends kindly meet at the church. Flowers or donations if preferred for Cancer Research UK. Floral tributes, donations and all enquiries to: Birch House, Birches Head Road, Hanley, ST1 6LH. Tel. 01782 212880.

My dad Ron Biddington and I have very fond memories of working with Bill at Federation Road and later at Victoria Road. He was a lovely man, full of humour and always making us laugh. Such sad news. Sending condolences to the family. Wendy xx
