So sad that Ken has passed away. I can’t put into words how amazing he was to me growing up my childhood in there house was the best always showed so much kindness and give me so much of his time. He would work long shifts come in have his tea and me and Kerrie would be torching him to come out and play never once said no always got up and played with us even when he was shattered, me and half the street would be calling for him to play out. A true wonderful gentleman a fantastic husband a wonderful father and person always so kind would sit and tell you so many stories such an interesting lovely man I’m forever grateful that I was always welcome and how kind he was. I will hold him and all those wonderful memories close to my heart always thank you so much I will cherish them always. Thinking of Yvonne Kerrie and family. Goodnight god bless Ken you will be missed and remembered always xxx

When I think of my uncle Ken, I think of sport. He always seemed to be doing something, pushing ahead to get things done. He was always kind and easy going. He even put up with me being a Magpie despite his love of The Boro. So, for Ken, Up the Boro!

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our dear Ken.

Ken was such a kind, lovely and special person.
Caring for him was not just a job to us; he became a very important part of our lives. We grew to love him so much and we will always be grateful for the precious time we had with him.

His gentle nature, warmth and presence will always remain in our hearts. We will miss his smile, his personality and the special moments we shared with him.

It was a true privilege to care for Ken and we feel blessed to have known him. Although our hearts are filled with sadness, we will treasure the memories of him forever.

Rest peacefully, dear Ken.You were loved, you are missed and you will never be forgotten.

With all our love,
From all your carers❤️

Uncle Ken, you will be deeply missed. You were a great Uncle to me and our Anth. You always had a story to tell and a smile ready for everyone. We genuinely thought you’d outlive us all - you were always the fittest and most full of life among us. The world feels quieter and less bright without you in it. Wishing you everlasting peace.
