RobertGIBSON(Firefighter (retired)) It is with deep sorrow that we announce that Robert passed away peacefully with his dearly beloved wife, Christine, at his side on Friday 6th March 2026 at University Hospital Ayr.
Robert was a much-loved Dad of Scott, Stacey, Christopher and Kelly and Brother to Angela. Loving Grandpa to Eithan, Brody, Damon, Darcey, Sophia and Cameron, father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and great friend to many.
Celebration of Life service will be held at Masonhill Crematorium, Ayr on Tuesday 24th March 2026 at 10:30, continuing to Robert's final resting place for burial at Monkton Cemetery at 11:30.
Flowers welcomed, alternatively, donations to Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Family Support Trust would be greatly appreciated.
