12 years since you left this life Nana, and I’ve missed you every single day since. But it’s not always tears when I think of you now. Now it’s a silent smile at the thought that you lived and that I was blessed to have you as my Nana and best friend. A precious memory of all the laughs that we shared and the lessons you taught me.
I watched Follow The Fleet the other day, sang along to all the songs and remembered doing the same with you all those years ago. Watching all those old movies together and debating that important question of ‘Fred or Gene?’.
I keep it all with me.
And as Fred said in Follow The Fleet…”Well, I’ll be seeing ya!”

10 years on the 30th Nana and it hasn’t got any easier.
When you went you took a huge piece of me with you. But you left me the gift of having loved you and shared so many precious memories with you.
You were never just my Nana, you were my best friend.
